Wednesday: Physicals – all incoming 7th, 9th, & 11th graders
Thursday: GIFT Banquet 6:30 pm
Tuesday: Community Forum 6:30 pm
Gunter High School at 6:30pm. There will be special performances from Lauren Baird, Quinten Layman and the Buckner Sisters as well as the presentation of colors by Boy Scout Troup #3 and the national anthem by our GHS Select Choir. Community updates will be given from our County Commissioners, City Council, Gunter ISD including a mini “State of the Schools” report, the Gunter Parks Foundation, EDC, and Chamber of Commerce and our keynote speaker will be Don Godwin. Light refreshments will be served.

Early Voting begins on Monday, April 27th and Election Day is Saturday, May 9th.
Gunter ISD has 2 positions open for School Board. The 4 candidates running for those two positions include:

• Kevin Clopton
• Kent Lashley
• Scott Meyerdirk
Election Day: May 9, 2015 at the Gunter Community Center from 7am to 7pm.
Early Voting will take place from Monday, April 27 through Friday, May 1 from 8am-5pm at the Community Center and Monday, May 4 and Tuesday, May 5 at the Community Center from 7am-7pm.
Voting by Mail: Applications for ballots by mail must be received no later than the close of business on Friday, May 1, 2015.
