Superbowl for 5/6th grade and 3/4th grade

A few things everyone knows about Gunter Texas… our great schools and our tough kids. Gunter youth sports has been making a name in baseball, basketball, and football for a long time. We have a tradition of winning Texoma championships over Howe, Pottsboro, Tom Bean, Whitesboro, Sherman, Denison, Celina, and Prosper.

Continuing in that tradition is the Gunter 5th/6th grade football team coached by Kyle Rigsby and Tommy Wade. This coming Saturday in Anna, Texas the Gunter Tigers will be seeking their “6th” straight Superbowl championship in the Texoma Youth Football League.

3/4th Grade Superbowl vs Denison

5/6th Grade Superbowl vs Princeton

Saturday November 7th 6:30 pm Anna Texas HS Football Stadium

The forecast shows cooler (football) weather but in case your weekend plans keep you away, CJSports will be broadcasting the Gunter games “LIVE!” You can listen on your app or right here on GunterTexas.com (You can even bring earphones to the game… It’s only a few seconds delay)

The Gunter 3/4th grade team is lead by Trevor Dobbs and Chris Dodd. They are looking for their 1st Superbowl win.

Gunter’s 5/6th grade team has won 5 Superbowls vs Celina, Melissa, Princeton since 2010. This is their last year of youth football before become official Gunter Tigers in 7th grade.
