Review: Arroyo’s Mexican – Sherman

If you are like me, you love to find a little place, out of the way, where the food is great, the prices low, and the crowds small.

Well, I found that place in Sherman.

Arroyo’s Mexican Restaurant and Taqueria

Those of you who like squeaky clean, quaint, call-for-reservations types of places… move on.

This is a small, friendly, good-food joint on the other side of the tracks in Sherman. Literally. Go past downtown, over the tracks, and in about a mile, it will be on the right.

The fajita meat is great… on the fajitas or street tacos.

You are greeted with three bowls to accompany your chips. Cold salsa, warm salsa, and warm queso. Good luck trying to pass on the queso.

Try their daily specials. $1 Tacos twice a week.
