Touch a Truck Comes to Gunter – 2017

THE GUNTER PARKS FOUNDATION IS HOSTING THE 4th ANNUAL TOUCH A TRUCK EVENT AT PRESTON TRAIL FARMS.

Save the date in your calendar. We have a great place and a great event for the kids from all around the area. This is a BIG event for Gunter!!!

Saturday September 9th, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

(10 a.m. to 11 a.m. being quiet hour for children with special needs.)

The Gunter Parks Foundation is so happy to announce they will be hosting their 4th annual Touch a Truck event this year at Preston Trail Farms in Gunter. The event will take place on Saturday September 9th, from 10 a.m. to 3p.m., with 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. being quiet hour for children with special needs. Come experience what it is like to climb, touch, sit in, and see first-hand real utility trucks, a ready mix truck, fire truck, garbage truck, ambulance, and so many more. After climbing on all the big trucks, go for a ride on the barrel train, hop on a hayride, have your face painted, do a scavenger hunt, and take a peek at the petting zoo animals. Entry is $5 per person. Food will be available for purchase.

Preston Trail Farms is located at 15102 State Highway 289 (Preston Road) in Gunter.

After raising over $200,000, the Gunter Parks Foundation and the entire Gunter community came together in May 2016 and built a community playground. The Gunter Parks Foundation is a 501c3 organization that will continue raising money for future park improvements in the City of Gunter. Gunter Parks Foundation is dedicated to preserving, protecting, enhancing and promoting our city park. Its purpose is to acquire financial resources through contributions to make park improvements that provide the community an opportunity to play, gather, celebrate and learn.
